This week on Scream Addicts, Jinx welcomes Victor Miller to the show.
A novelist and screenwriter who is best known to horror fans for writing Friday the 13th and creating Jason Voorhees, Mr. Miller has chosen The Coen Brothers’ 1987 crime/comedy film Raising Arizona for discussion this week.
Mr. Miller and Jinx discuss how the film might be considered “horror”, find parallels between its absurd story and our current political situation, and discuss its place in the Coen Brothers’ impressive filmography.
Along the way, Mr. Miller discusses his admiration for the film’s writing and performances, and even talks a bit about Friday the 13th’s legal predicament.
It’s a great chat with a wonderful guest, and it’s one we hope you enjoy.
