This week on Scream Addicts, Guest Host Paul Farrell welcomes Brian Saur to the show!
A writer and podcaster known for Rupert Pupkin Speaks, Just the Discs and Pure Cinema, Mr. Saur has chosen Robert Clouse’s 1982 horror film Deadly Eyes for discussion this week.
Based upon the novel The Rats by James Herbert, Deadly Eyes launches a talk which finds Paul and Mr. Saur discussing the animal attack subgenre, the film’s current out of print status, and the fact that the film’s rats are portrayed by tiny canines in rat costumes (!). Along the way, the pair discuss the film’s source novel, the film’s uncomfortable love triangle, and…pet tarantulas?!
It’s a fantastic talk with wonderful people, and it’s one we hope you enjoy!
