The Beach Girls and the Monster with Scott Foy

This week on Scream Addicts, Jinx and Paul forgo their weekly trip to the Hammer Pub to welcome Scott Foy back to the show!

A Scream Addicts veteran at this point, Foy has chosen Jon Hall’s 1965 horror flick The Beach Girls and the Monster for discussion this week.

Kicking off with a deep dive into the film’s shallow plot, the trio attack the film’s scant story elements, the dodgy writing and thing characters, and its absolutely bonkers ending.  Afterwards, Foy puts forth an interesting theory about the film’s place in slasher film history, back up with a list of tropes from that very subgenre!

After the main chat, the guys continue on chatting about such things as long movie runtimes, Lawnmower Man 2, the current state of the theatre industry, and…Freejack?!

It’s a super fun chat with a great guest, and it’s one we hope you’ll enjoy!
